These mysterious blue holes have many interesting stories around them from; housing the Kraken, having mystical powers, being haunted, the home of a creature called the Lusca (a giant animal up to 75 feet in length and resembles a cross between an octopus and a shark), and more. Lusca supposedly attack swimmers and divers, and sometimes even boats.
One of the most extremely famous blue holes is The Great Blue Hole near Ambergris Caye in Belize which is approximately 663 feet deep. Someday, I hope I will get to dive and explore the area and see what I encounter.
