Jamie Pearce to Speak at Dragon Con

Jamie Pearce, author and founder of Historic Haunts Investigations has been asked to be a guest speaker on the paranormal at the 2015 Dragon Con in Atlanta.
Pearce is very excited and signed the contract this morning and will be speaking all weekend on her investigations, books, and the paranormal in general.
Pearce has many experiences and stories to tell and is looking forward to the event and is honored to be appearing with many other great names in the field.

Historic Haunts Investigations Meets "REAL" Ghostbuster Dan Aykroyd

Historic Haunts Investigations team members Jolyn and Eric O'Dierno met Dan Aykroyd this past weekend while he was doing a signing at Walgreens in Orlando Florida.
Eric O'Dierno who is the head of the Orlando Chapter of Historic Haunts Investigations also presented Mr. Aykroyd with a 1st edition, 1918, A New Revelation by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
Mr. Aykroyd said that it was a very thoughtful gift and it would be going into the family library.

Dunhill Hotel, Charlotte NC Investigation

Historic Haunts Investigations founder Jamie Pearce and her team recently investigated the Dunhill Hotel in downtown Charlotte North Carolina. It will be featured in Pearce’s book, Historic Haunts of the South 3.
This 1929 beautifully restored hotel holds a long history with several haunting encounters.
The resident haunts did not let Pearce and her team down this past weekend. From phantom smells, emf spikes, and drastic temperature changes were all experienced while the Historic Haunts team investigated the Dunhill.
Pearce stayed in one of the most haunted rooms, #906, and had a few ghostly encounters during the night from finger tapping on the night stand to equipment turning itself off.
Want more details about the investigations? You will have to wait until the book comes out for all the paranormal encounters from Charlotte’s Dunhill Hotel.

Staying Fit Between Paranormal Events

I have been asked several times how I stay in shape with such a busy schedule of investigations, conventions, tours, signings, and more.
That is easy, I love being active. Whether it is doing 5k’s for charity, kick boxing, Tahitian dance, or learning new things, I love being active, and I love sports! Plus, when I am touring exploring whatever city I am in is a great way to see new locations and get your exercise in.
Even though I have medical issues and suffer from chronic pain, I try to work around it or work with it. I don’t like just sitting still unless I absolutely have to, and that is a big help.

2015 Green Cove Springs Railroad Festival

Unfortunately I was unable to attend this year's Railroad Festival in Green Cove Springs Florida due to being sick, but I was told it was a great turn out.
Beautiful weather, trains, history, a few ghosts, and so much more. I am looking forward to the 2016 event and hope to attend with my books and be healthy enough to enjoy the event.

Northeast Florida Scottish Games 20th Anniversary

Truly Scottish weather for the Northeast Florida Scottish Games. Even though it was dreary, we all had a wonderful time with family and friends.
Beautiful Scottish music, food, athletes, clans, bag pipers, drums, dancers, animals, and so much more were all enjoyed by many.
This year we celebrated our 20th anniversary and are looking forward to 2016.
