www.facebook.com/AuthorJamiePearce Want to enjoy a wonderful meal at one of the most beautiful Irish pubs that is haunted? Well, on your next visit to Charlotte, NC make sure you stop by RiRa’s. The company will only build a new location when they have enough recycled supplies in Ireland to do so. When we say recycled supplies we mean; doors, windows, archways, statues, etc from old churches, houses, barns, and so much more in Ireland. Each pub is a different old world experience and is beautifully done. Plus the food is absolutely amazing. What about the ghost, right?! Check out the dining area on the 2nd floor and look at the wall in the front of the building in the upper left corner. Then ask yourself, how did that writing get there and how could the LITTLE GIRL spirit get up there to do that? Next, ask a staff member about the ghosts and some of her fun antics. Be prepared for Historic Haunts of the South 3 by Jamie Pearce to find out more about the spirit at this fantastic haunted pub. We at Historic Haunts Investigation don't only seek the paranormal but we also like achieving new goals and adventures. Historic Haunts Investigations founder and author Jamie Pearce finally achieved a goal and learned how to SUP, stand up paddleboard with All West Sports in Jacksonville. Besides having an absolute blast with her instructor, Zack, it never fails, the topic of ghosts came up. Pearce and her guide didn’t run into anything paranormal but she definitely will be back to “investigate” again. Author and Historic Haunts Investigations founder, Jamie Pearce, was recently asked what her top five most haunted cities would be and she didn’t waste any time answering.
#1 New Orleans, Louisiana Between voodoo, disease, battles, and so much more this beautiful historic city is the most haunted place I have encounter, even more so than St. Augustine and I lived there for several years. #2 St. Augustine, Florida The oldest city in our nation has seen everything and from my personal experiences I would say it is the 2nd most haunted city in the U.S. It has been through many battles, disease, fires, and more but I still think New Orleans has this 450 year old city beat. #3 Savannah, Georgia Another wonderful historic city that has a past almost as dark as New Orleans but the ghosts here don’t seem to be as packed in as the top two cities. #4 Charleston, South Carolina One of the most beautiful cities in the south but it hides a very haunted history much of the same as the other top three but has also dealt heavily with pirates and earthquakes as well. #5 Gettysburg, Pennsylvania The bloody Battle of Gettysburg left a strong imprint on this entire town and its surrounding area and the paranormal count is definitely in the top five most haunted in the United States. “I have chosen these top five locations based on my personal experiences and encounters and have personally investigated in all five cities.” ~Jamie Pearce Author/Founder Historic Haunts Investigations Historic Haunts Investigations founder and author Jamie Pearce recently enrolled in online classes at the University of Virginia. As a proud ancestor of Thomas Jefferson, Pearce stated “It is an honor to be part of something Jefferson created” referring to his creation of the University of Virginia. Pearce is taking classes in business and for fun a class entitled “The Age of Jefferson”. If you are a fan of Steampunk, then I have a recommendation for you. My friend Nigel Pennington is the Colonel of Steampunk. Writer and creator of short films in the Steampunk category, is a very talented character and is definitely worth checking out. Who knows what the great Colonel will be up to next in his adventures from flying steam ships to hunting ghosts and banshees. http://www.thesteampunkempire.com/ ~Jamie Pearce Author/Founder of Historic Haunts Investigations My entire life, I knew I had a half brother and was finally able to locate him when I was about 14 years old. After years of communication (I am now 36 yrs old and he is 51) we were able to meet. My husband and I took a vacation with my brother Mark, his wife Brenda, and my nephew Jacob and we had such a strong connection and a fantastic time. Why am I sharing something non paranormal with everyone on my Historic Haunts website? Because I want people to realize we need to take the opportunity when it is there, because one day it might not be there. Don’t spend your life wondering, I did for too long and I now thank God that I acted instead of wondered. All the Best, ~Jamie Pearce Author/Founder of Historic Haunts Investigations I have experienced lucid dreaming for many many years. I even keep a note book next to my bed to jot down any details. Many believe lucid dreaming is caused by the lay lines in the earth and the direction our bodies face when sleeping.
When I sleep, I always try to keep my feet in the east and my head in the west so when I sit up, I am looking towards the sunrise. I sleep much better this way and my dreams are much clearer and detailed. Another thing that will affect your lucid dreaming is the time of night you eat. You do not want to eat less than 4 hours before bedtime because your body will be working over night to process the food. Now make sure to position your bed in the best position for you and get your notebook ready and start dreaming. Sweet Dreams, ~Jamie Author/Founder Historic Haunts Investigations The Marshall House in Savannah Georgia has been visited by several members of my Historic Haunts Investigations team. Although none of us have really had any major experiences at this historic hotel, it doesn’t mean that it isn’t haunted. I will be featuring the Marshall House in my upcoming book, Historic Haunts of the South 3 so keep an eye out for this addition to my Historic Haunts series. ~Jamie Pearce Author/Founder Historic Haunts Investigations Historic Haunts Investigations founder and author Jamie Pearce recently investigated the 1893 Old Hamilton County Jail in Jasper Florida. She and her team conducted a paranormal investigation during the day for an upcoming book in Pearce's Historic Haunts series. During the investigation they kept hearing footsteps just ahead of them as if someone was there but didn't want the team to catch up with them. If you want to hear more about the investigation and their experiences, you will have to check out Historic Haunts of the South 4 when it is released. |
