My Past Life in Williamsburg Virginia

9/27/2019

One of my past life regression proved something I was already 99% sure of.
My first trip to Williamsburg Virginia, in this life, was in 1988. It was the strangest thing, I knew where everything was, I knew what things were called in the 1700’s, and I knew who people were (interpreters).
Through the years I discovered my ancestors, the Randolph’s, were a very key part of Williamsburg history during the 1700s.
During my regression I discovered I was a Randolph, not sure which one yet, and I was stunning with my colonial gown. Everyone in town knew me and I loved in my ancestral home, the Randolph House. I saw so much detail, spelt and felt my surroundings.
When I woke up from my regression I felt so home sick, which I do anyway because I miss living there so much.
I hope to have another session where I can learn more about that life.

I know this isn’t paranormal related, but sometimes I like to post things of interest to me. Saving and helping animals is one of them.
Wands for Wildlife helps rescue and rehabilitate sick and injured animals. Please check out their website for ways you can help. You can even send them cleaned used mascara wands...check it out to see how that helps.

Who is Mr. Robert Baker?

9/20/2019

I have had a reoccurring spirit visiting me for over 15 years. My first trip as an adult to Yorktown Virginia is when it all began. Through years of research, I have discovered who exactly he is and he visits me often.
I use to only see him just before I was heading home to Virginia for a visit but now he visits me much more often. It seems like whenever I get really down or am homesick, I will see him.
His name is Robert Baker, he was a British soldier during the American Revolution. After the war he ran a small tavern in Yorktown. He didn’t have much when he died and was buried in a paupers cemetery in Yorktown.
The building that housed his tavern was accidentally blown up during the Civil War but the building has been reconstructed and that is where I originally first came in contact with him, is on his property.
One night, many years ago when I was working retail, I was really home sick, almost to tears. I was really trying to focus on the upcoming trip home to
Williamsburg. A little girl came up to me and asked he the man in funny clothing was. I looked and didn’t see anyone (not thinking of Mr. Baker). I asked the little girl what the man looked like and she said, “Well, he is wearing short tan pants and knee socks and dress shoes. He is wearing a ruffled shirt, a funny vest and jacket. Oh yea, and a funny hat too.” Immediately I knew it was Mr. Baker because I had seen him enough times and he always worse a beige suit. I told the little girl not to worry, he was my friend and then I asked her what he was doing. She answered, “He’s just watching you and smiling. I think he just comes around to make sure your ok. Are you?” I told her yes and thanked her and then her mom called for her a few aisles over.
I am very thankful for his frequent visits. They have actually become more frequent since our daughter was born, and she has seen him too. He always acknowledges me and at least nods, but never speaks a word.

Favorite Paranormal Books & Authors

All of us in the paranormal have our favorite authors or books on subject. Here are a few of my favorites.
  1. Hans Holzer- Honestly, all of his work is fascinating and informative.
  2. Loyd Auerbach- I earned my certification in Parapsychology under Loyd @ HCH Institute and have learned so much from him and his work.
  3. John Zaffis- I have worked with and learned so much from John. Him and Auerbach have been in the paranormal field for so long that there is a wealth of knowledge in their work and minds.
  4. Annette Martin- This lovely lady and psychic was a friend and my talks with her over the years I treasure and miss her. Her Psychic Workbook really helped strengthen my abilities. I think of her often and hope she is at peace within the White light.

Being an Empath & Post Cognitive

9/13/2019

Being an empath and a paranormal investigator can be tough. Then add post cognitive to the pot and man, what a mix! When we investigate somewhere that has experienced something traumatic or a major event, I often times get very sick and pick up on it. Sometimes I actually will not only see or hear things but also smell and taste it.
There have been times just on a normal day I have walked past somewhere and a major post cognitive experience.
My daughter and I walk pretty much every morning. One morning when we headed out a felt a little “off”. We passed a vacant lot where a house once stood and we have passed dozens of times, but this particular day I saw something. I got extremely nauseous and when I looked to my right I saw a man with a bullet hole in his head. I stayed calm not to startle my daughter but it was everything I could do to keep from being sick. All of a sudden I hear my 3 year old say, “ Mommy, look. That man has a booboo on his head. We need to get him a band aid.” I told her we would get home one and kept walking and she got distracted by cats playing in someone’s yard.

Through the years of genealogy research and tracing my family back hundreds of years, these abilities seem to run in my family in my mother’s side....but only with the ladies.
At least on an Investigation I try to be prepared for things, but on a daily basis I’ve learned to start taking more precautions for myself, and now my daughter.

Confederate Cemetery, Marietta GA Investigation

9/9/2019

We decided to do a little Investigation if the old Confederate Cemetery while in Marietta Georgia.

We got a few EMF spikes where the Lady in Black is most often seen, but other than that, it was extremely quiet. That is very weird for us being a bunch of Yankees we usually get more of a response from an area known to be haunted by Confederate soldiers, and usually not very welcoming.

Another great year of panels at Dragon Con in Atlanta. This year’s focus for our lectures was mainly on paranormal evidence.
Please email Dragon Con at [email protected] and ask them to expand the paranormal panels to help support what we do in the paranormal and our lectures.

Thank you to all who came out.

Raising a Child Who Can See Ghosts

9/9/2019

Well, this can be a hard one to handle or deal with. Fortunately, it runs in my family so it makes things a lot easier for us when our daughter started seeing things.
Our 3 year old has already experienced several things, and seeing dead people is one of them.
One thing if your child mentions seeing a ghost....listen to them. Don’t tease or brush it off. Ask them what they see or what it looks like. This will most often tell you if they really seeing something or if they are just pretending.
If you believe your child is seeing spirits, check out the book “Kids Who See Ghosts” by Caron B. Goode. It’s a great read and has a lot of helpful tips and suggestions.
Please don’t ever poopoo your child’s conversation, please listen to all they have to say.
