Ocean Conservation Event, Seas the Con

Many people may not realize that I have a major passion for the ocean and ocean conservation. I am an avid snorkeler, surfer, SUP, kayaker, and scuba diver. I want to do my part for future generations.
My husband and I are launching our first annual Seas the Con non profit ocean conservation convention in May 2019 here in Jacksonville Florida. Please check out our website for more info about our event www.seasthecon.net
We hope we will see some of you there. I will have a Historic Haunts Investigations booth with info on haunted lighthouses, ghost ships, maritime ghost stories, and even haunted dive sites.

Author and Historic Haunts Investigations founder, Jamie Pearce, is starting to research for Historic Haunts of the North 2 and Historic Haunts of the Midwest 2.
She already has several stories and investigations under her belt for these two books but is reaching out to her readers and fans and would love to hear any suggestions on potential haunted hot spots to write about.

Help to Oceans

In 2017, Jamie Pearce created Help to Oceans, a non profit ocean conservation group. They raise money for many different ocean/marine life conservation groups.
In 2019 Help to Oceans will be hosting their first annual Seas the Con. A non profit ocean conservation convention where ocean conservation meets ocean culture.

Historic Haunts Florida 3

Jamie Pearce, the founder of Historic Haunts Investigations and author of the hit Historic Haunts series has been hard at work on yet another book. Historic Haunts Florida III will feature more haunted hot spots across the sunshine state and include many more investigations. There is no editing or release date for this, but it is in the works.

Historic Haunts of the South 4 and 5

Jamie Pearce has been asked numerous time when will another book be released in the Historic Haunts of the South series. Pearce is excited to announce that her and the Historic Haunts Investigations team have been conducting many investigations across the south and Historic Haunts of the South 4 and 5 are written and will be going through editing hopefully sometime in 2019. No release date is set, there may be a few potential more investigations for one of both of these books.

Historic Haunts of the North and Historic Haunts of the Midwest Coming Soon...

In early 2019, Historic Haunts of the North and Historic Haunts of the Midwest will be released.
They are both going through the editing process and Jamie Pearce is excited to share more of her investigations and explorations.
Some of the destinations in the new books are; Salem MA, Boston MA, Chicago IL, Washington DC, Baltimore MD, Philadelphia PA, Gettysburg PA, and so many more.

Edgar Allan Poe's Grave

I was inspired from a very early age by the works of Edgar Allan Poe. I wanted to become an author and that officially happened in 2011. Ever since my first book was published I had set a goal of visiting his grave and paying my respects before I turned 40. Well, almost 1 month before my 40th birthday, it happened. It was very emotional for me and the weather was VERY cold and wet. Everywhere I have traveled that is a designated Poe site, I seem to connect and feel his energy and I thank him for his inspiration every time.

What is a Mini Investigation?

Many people ask me, what is a mini investigation? Well, for us, most of our investigations are over night, for several hours, and potentially multiple nights. When we do "mini investigations" it is usually because the location only gives us a set time ie. 7am-9am, or 9pm-midnight, or they only allow certain areas, etc. Sometimes the activity is only in a specific room or area so we only focus on that area. It all depends on what the location or time allows. We make it work and do our best to obtain correct info. We do prefer when we have a building completely to ourselves and after hours, but like I said, we do what the location allows and we are thankful for whatever we get.
