We have to book at least a month or more in advance, but a ghost tour in St. Augustine is only a REAL ghost tour if Parapsychologist and published Historic Haunts author, Dr. Jamie Pearce is leading the way. I have been fortunate enough to secure Jamie for a few guided tours, for multi-age homeschool students, through some of St. Augustine, Florida's most well known, and not so well known, haunted spots. She didn't only bring our walking tours to life, she brought the ghosts to life! I've heard more than one student say they felt like a ghost hunter after Jamie armed them with equipment like an EMF reader. Jamie is a consummate professional, that manages to keep kids, and adults alike, fascinated and engaged while being cognizant of varying fears and sensitivities within the group. If you're lucky enough to have an opportunity for Jamie to lead a ghost tour, in any city, then I highly recommend you jump right on it! She does not disappoint! If you're like the attendees of my tours then you'll end your tour feeling educated and entertained! It's an honor and always fantastic for us to tour with Jamie. Much gratitude for you Jamie!
~Jolinda Kohl 7/29/21 I started Historic Haunts Investigations in 2004 for two reasons; I love the paranormal and I love history. I am a historian and a reenactor so since I am recommending paranormal books every month, I figured I should do a history related one too. I hope you will enjoy them.
This month's historic book: 1776 by David McCullough ~Dr. Jamie Pearce Author/Founder of Historic Haunts Investigations It was a fantastic 4th of July 2021 book signing at the Book Warehouse in Williamsburg Virginia. Plus, I found out the store was haunted. We ended up conducting a mini investigation during the signing. I am looking forward to going back and conducting a full blown investigation.
Two great book signings at Colonial Williamsburg over 4th of July weekend. One at the new Brick and Vine and one at the Colonial Williamsburg Visitor Center. One of the most historic and haunted cities in the United States and where Dr. Pearce will always call home.
Great book talk with Dr. Jamie Pearce PhD at the Williamsburg Library discussing her 25 years involved in the paranormal and some of her favorite Historic Haunts in Colonial Williamsburg.
Relay for Life 2020/2021 was a success even though COVID slowed everything down or to a complete halt. The Historic Haunts Investigations team still met their goal and raised $1000 and we have already started planning for the 2021/2022 season. Thank you everyone who donated prizes and bought raffle tickets. Let's see if we can double our goal this year.
I am always excited to join or work with other paranormal groups and being asked to join the Para Nexus Anomalous Research Association is an honor. Thank you, Dr. Doug Kelley.
~Jamie Pearce Author/Founder of Historic Haunts Investigations I wanted to do something fun so I thought I would start doing a paranormal movie of the month from some of my favorite spooky movies.
These movies aren't always 100% accurate and many are for entertainment purposes so here we go: This month's Pick: Close Encounters of the Third Kind ~Dr. Jamie Pearce Author/Founder of Historic Haunts Investigations Everyone here at Historic Haunts Investigations wishes you a very Happy Independence Day.
~Dr. Jamie Pearce Author/Founder of Historic Haunts Investigations Jamie Pearce has selected the Atlantic White Shark Conservancy as the charity of the month for July 2021.
