#1 New Orleans, Louisiana
Between voodoo, disease, battles, and so much more this beautiful historic city is the most haunted place I have encounter, even more so than St. Augustine and I lived there for several years.
#2 St. Augustine, Florida
The oldest city in our nation has seen everything and from my personal experiences I would say it is the 2nd most haunted city in the U.S. It has been through many battles, disease, fires, and more but I still think New Orleans has this 450 year old city beat.
#3 Savannah, Georgia
Another wonderful historic city that has a past almost as dark as New Orleans but the ghosts here don’t seem to be as packed in as the top two cities.
#4 Charleston, South Carolina
One of the most beautiful cities in the south but it hides a very haunted history much of the same as the other top three but has also dealt heavily with pirates and earthquakes as well.
#5 Gettysburg, Pennsylvania
The bloody Battle of Gettysburg left a strong imprint on this entire town and its surrounding area and the paranormal count is definitely in the top five most haunted in the United States.
“I have chosen these top five locations based on my personal experiences and encounters and have personally investigated in all five cities.”
