When I was first told, I burned in a passed life, and yes this is how the woman put it, I was offended. I thought, is she calling me a witch (in the sense of being one with a “B”)? Then I thought how I was very polite and friendly to the woman, and I am a Christian so what is she talking about?! Then after being told by another person I was a very old soul and she thought I was once in old Salem, and then a few more times by even more people I started to wonder. Maybe there is something more to this.
I have always believed in the power of herbs and crystals and started looking into such a thing as a Christian Witch. Yes indeed, there is such a thing. People how worship God and Jesus, and believe in the power or crystals, earth, herbs, etc . is pretty much what a Christian Witch is. I have always been interested in the Salem Witch Trials, so I dug deeper into my family tree, and sure enough, there are two branches right in the heart of the witch trials.
I do not attend a regular church but have nothing against it. With mine and my husband’s schedules we rarely have time for it, but we don’t feel like we have to go to a formal church to believe and try to do right by others. I was baptized years ago in a Presbyterian Church but we left the church for personal reasons. When they are preaching more about money, money, money we decided to leave and just do our worship our own way. At home or with friends.
You can all me a witch if you wish, I know who I am and what I believe and I try to treat everyone equally. Maybe that is more of a spiritualist than religious, but I can sleep at night and try my best every day.
