I wanted to do something fun so I thought I would start doing a paranormal movie of the month from some of my favorite spooky movies.
These movies aren't always 100% accurate and many are for entertainment purposes so here we go: This month's Pick: The Legend of Sleepy Hollow (1980) w/Jeff Goldblum ~Dr. Jamie Pearce Author/Founder of Historic Haunts Investigations Jamie Pearce has selected the National Coalition for Homeless Veterans as the charity of the month for September 2020.
10% of your online purchase will be donated to this amazing non profit. Please shop and also check out their website at www.nchv.org and see this charity close to Pearce’s heart. Each month I will be recommending a book from one of my favorite topics, the paranormal. This could mean ghosts, UFO's, psychic research, etc. and all our in my personal library.
This month's recommendation is: Reincarnation, Channeling, and Possession by Loyd Auerbach Ghost Education 101
I am honored that I have been asked to be an educator for Ghost Education 101. I am very excited to be teaching as well as learning from other about the paranormal field which I have been involved in for over 25 years. ~Dr. Jamie Pearce Author/Founder of Historic Haunts Investigations Many people ask me what age range my books are for. I usually say for everyone, but of course if you are reading it to a little one, use your discretion. Even my daughter London loves the ghost stories, but who doesn't love a good ghost story?!
~Dr. Jamie Pearce PhD I started Historic Haunts Investigations in 2004 for two reasons; I love the paranormal and I love history. I am a historian and a reenactor so since I am recommending paranormal books every month, I figured I should do a history related one too. I hope you will enjoy them.
This month's historic book: The Lincoln Conspiracy by Brad Meltzer ~Dr. Jamie Pearce Author/Founder of Historic Haunts Investigations As many may already know, the name Historic Haunts came because of my love for history and the paranormal.
You may have already seen the musical "Hamilton" on Disney+ and my family is obsessed with it, including my 4 year old daughter. One of my favorite lines in the entire performance is, "History has its eyes on you". So, we took the opportunity to show our support to Hamilton. I wanted to do something fun so I thought I would start doing a paranormal movie of the month from some of my favorite spooky movies.
