This year my Historic Haunts Investigations team raised over $1000 for Relay for Life. Not bad while dealing with a pandemic and three team members actually having COVID.
Here's to raising more money next year and a healthier one. Author/Founder of Historic Haunts Investigations Dr. Jamie Pearce PhD Well, everyone, we made it through 2020! This has been one of the toughest and felt like one of the longest years ever. My husband and I both contracted COVID in March and I was in respiratory therapy for months. I am still not 100% but I am getting there. However, we are alive and doing well and are very thankful for that. We lost many throughout the year that we knew to COVID and many acquaintances and are deeply saddened who all that have been lost to this virus and our prayers go out to everyone.
Here is to 2021 and hopefully a safe and healthy and healing new year. Happy Hauntings, Author/Founder of Historic Haunts, Dr. Jamie Pearce Each month I will be recommending a book from one of my favorite topics, the paranormal. This could mean ghosts, UFO's, psychic research, etc. and all our in my personal library.
This month's recommendation is: Growing Up Psychic by Chip Coffey Another fantastic year is in the books. Happy New Year 2021 everyone! So many great things in store for and from the Historic Haunts Investigations Team.
Jamie Pearce has selected the Make a Wish Foundation as the charity of the month for January 2021.
10% of your online purchase will be donated to this amazing non profit. Please shop and also check out their website at www.wish.org and see this charity close to Pearce’s heart. Sorry we are so late in posting the winner for our 2020 Historic Haunts Annual Ghostly Photo Contest Winner, we had a lot going on the last quarter of 2020.
Our 2020 winner is, David's Sloan's Robert the Doll Ghost Tour in Key West Florida. Congratulations yet again, David, on another great photo. Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from your Historic Haunts team. Thank you for another great years. See you all in 2021!
I started Historic Haunts Investigations in 2004 for two reasons; I love the paranormal and I love history. I am a historian and a reenactor so since I am recommending paranormal books every month, I figured I should do a history related one too. I hope you will enjoy them.
This month's historic book: The Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass ~Dr. Jamie Pearce Author/Founder of Historic Haunts Investigations I wanted to do something fun so I thought I would start doing a paranormal movie of the month from some of my favorite spooky movies.
These movies aren't always 100% accurate and many are for entertainment purposes so here we go: This month's Pick: Amityville 2 The Possession (1982) ~Dr. Jamie Pearce Author/Founder of Historic Haunts Investigations |
