We decided to visit the North Carolina History Museum while in Raleigh and weren’t really expecting to run into the paranormal while there. Very heavy vibes in some areas in the museum and London actually got completely weirded out in two se ruins. When this happened I pulled out my K2 EMF meter and actually got spikes in a few areas. You never know what you will run into.
While in Raleigh we conducted a mini investigation at Mordecai Park. The two main haunted hot spots were the Mordecai House and the Andrew Johnson House. EMF spikes and activity with the Spirit Box. These will be featured in an upcoming volume of Historic Haunts of the South to get all the details.
We conducted a mini investigation at Oakwood Cemetery and the most activity took place at the Confederate Cemetery section. Many EMF spikes in this area and the rest of the cemetery was really quiet. This location will be featured in an upcoming volume of Historic Haunts because it is haunted and we did have some experiences.
We did a mini investigation at Dorothea Dix Park and it didn’t let us down. We got several EMF spikes and spirit box activity that was died to the hospital and the cemetery. If you want to know more you will have to wait until this volume of Historic Haunts of the South.
Two weekends ago we spent a few days researching for an upcoming secret book! I'm not going to give away any details yet because it’s still in the really early research starges but I think it will be a volume of Historic Haunts you won’t want to miss.
Dr. Jamie Pearce PhD Author/Founder of Historic Haunts Investigations I started Historic Haunts Investigations in 2004 for two reasons; I love the paranormal and I love history. I am a historian and a reenactor so since I am recommending paranormal books every month, I figured I should do a history related one too. I hope you will enjoy them.
This month's historic book: Ancient Egypt Myths by Catherine Chambers ~Dr. Jamie Pearce Author/Founder of Historic Haunts Investigations To all who have served, thank you, and Happy Veteran's Day.
~Dr. Jamie Pearce Author/Founder of Historic Haunts Investigations On 3 November 2021 I did a paranormal talk with the ladies of our local P.E.O. Chapter. It was a great talk and book signings about all things Historic Haunts. It feels great that things are starting to get back to semi normal after COVID.
Dr. Jamie Pearce PhD Author/Founder of Historic Haunts Investigations I wanted to do something fun so I thought I would start doing a paranormal movie of the month from some of my favorite spooky movies.
These movies aren't always 100% accurate and many are for entertainment purposes so here we go: This month's Pick: Ghostbusters 2 ~Dr. Jamie Pearce Author/Founder of Historic Haunts Investigations We conducted a mini investigation at the Pritchard House in Titusville and we do believe Mrs. Pritchard is definitely still here. Want to know more, you’ll just have to wait until Historic Haunts of the South’s next volume comes out.
