We had major activity at Linden Row on this investigation. The REM Pod was going nuts with responses and activity for a solid 10 minutes. Whomever it was started to get a little forceful so I told it if it didn’t stop I would have Deric return and the meter quit. This location was already going to go in an upcoming volume but now there is much more to add to it.
We decided to visit Agefroft in Richmond Virginia which is 450+ year old estate that was disassembled and moved over from England. Holy cow! The meters were going crazy with EMF spikes, words in the spirit box, and personal experiences while we toured the manor house. We didn’t even conduct an official investigation, it was just a tour of the building and we always have meters on us. This location will be featured in the next volume of Historic Haunts of the South.
We did another mini investigation of the Edgar Allan Poe Museum in Richmond Virginia. This time all was extremely quiet but as I say, ghosts don’t perform on queue. We did get to see the resident cats Pluto and Edgar their black cats and we always love to visit.
Today is not only my birthday but today in 1966, Walter Elias Disney died.
I want to take a moment to remember him because growing up at Walt Disney World and learning about Walt taught me to never give up on your dreams. Walt was in no way perfect but he did create a lot of fantastic things and I’ve learned a lot of great lessons from him. Jamie Pearce Author/Founder of Historic Haunts Investigations I started Historic Haunts Investigations in 2004 for two reasons; I love the paranormal and I love history. I am a historian and a reenactor so since I am recommending paranormal books every month, I figured I should do a history related one too. I hope you will enjoy them.
This month's historic book: Reporting the Revolutionary War ~Dr. Jamie Pearce Author/Founder of Historic Haunts Investigations Historic Haunts Investigations has finally made their way to Instagram. Please be patient with us while we figure out how it all works. :-)
I wanted to do something fun so I thought I would start doing a paranormal movie of the month from some of my favorite spooky movies.
These movies aren't always 100% accurate and many are for entertainment purposes so here we go: This month's Pick: Scrooged ~Dr. Jamie Pearce Author/Founder of Historic Haunts Investigations Jamie Pearce has selected the Toys for Tots as the charity of the month for December 2021.
10% of your online purchase will be donated to this amazing non profit. Please shop and also check out their website at www.toysfortots.org and see this charity close to Pearce’s heart. Each month I will be recommending a book from one of my favorite topics, the paranormal. This could mean ghosts, UFO's, psychic research, etc. and all our in my personal library.
This month's recommendation is: Recovering the Soul by Larry Dossey MD |
