Great event at a fantastic historic and haunted building. Make sure to spend some time at this fabulous building during your next trip to Charleston. Last month, author and founder of Historic Haunts Investigations, Jamie Pearce did another modeling photo shoot for Kilted Photography. The shoot took place at Evergreen Cemetery in Jacksonville Florida. The cemetery has graves dating back to the 1700's and is full of beautiful graves, mausoleums, and crypts. While the photographer Audie Gibson was editing the photos on his computer, something strange occurred and only to two of the photos both taken at the same crypt. The software he uses is used to edit the lighting and color to even things out and will also mark where faces are in the photos. The strange thing is, in two photos it marked an unseen face, and it wasn't Jamie's. The face was behind the bars and every time the photographer tried to edit the lighting it would completely distort Pearce's face and the bars appear slightly wavy where the mysterious face appeared on the software.. Unfortunately, the only time the face was seen is only when uploaded on the software. They were able to capture one decent photo at that location that wasn't effected by whatever entity may have been trying to make contact. Something paranormal? We may never know but I am trying to research that particular crypt to see what the story is about it. Maybe one of the residents of the mausoleum wanted to see what was going on and get in the picture. |
