Hey guys! Two new episodes of Speaking of the Paranormal are up and running. You can go to www.SpeakingOfTheParanormal.com or to Spotify. Episode 3 is with Dr. Brandy Stark about haunted St. Peter and Pinellas County Florida. Episode 4 is with author of Bloodstains Jeff Mudgett.
I hope you enjoy them and many more to come. Well, we have to recognize the Official Black Cat Day every year, we have two! Salem is solid black and Binx is a tuxedo. They are sisters and are three years old. I have never been superstitious and have always loved these beautiful creatures.
Happy Black Cat Day! Dr. Jamie Pearce Author/Founder of Historic Haunts Investigations I started Historic Haunts Investigations in 2004 for two reasons; I love the paranormal and I love history. I am a historian and a reenactor so since I am recommending paranormal books every month, I figured I should do a history related one too. I hope you will enjoy them.
This month's historic book: The Randolph Women by Ruth Doumlele ~Dr. Jamie Pearce Author/Founder of Historic Haunts Investigations Today is National Book Lovers Day! Everyday should be book lovers day if you ask me. Grab a cup of tea and a good book and enjoy your day.
Dr. Jamie Pearce Author/Founder of Historic Haunts Investigations I have loved lighthouses since I was a little girl growing up on the Gulf Coast then later moving to the East Coast. A haunted lighthouse is even better and I have written about many in my Historic Haunts series.
If you live near a lighthouse, go check it out. The history of the lights are very interesting, and the ghost stories are the icing on the cake. Happy National Lighthouse Day! Dr. Jamie Pearce Author/Founder of Historic Haunts Investigations I wanted to do something fun so I thought I would start doing a paranormal movie of the month from some of my favorite spooky movies.
These movies aren't always 100% accurate and many are for entertainment purposes so here we go: This month's Pick: The House of Seven Gables ~Dr. Jamie Pearce Author/Founder of Historic Haunts Investigations Each month I will be recommending a book from one of my favorite topics, the paranormal. This could mean ghosts, UFO's, psychic research, etc. and all our in my personal library.
This month's recommendation is: A Still Small Voice by Echo Bodine Dr. Jamie Pearce has selected the American Psychical Research Center as the charity of the month.
10% of your online purchase will be donated to this amazing non profit. Please shop and also check out their website at www.aspr.org and see this charity close to Pearce’s heart.
