Every year we at Historic Haunts Investigations take some time off for the busy holiday season. From November 25th thru January 3rd we won’t be doing anything Investigations and Jamie Pearce won’t be doing any public speaking events, lectures, or signings. You may still contact us at HistoricHaunts@yahoo.com and we will reply to you and we still will be shipping all orders.
Have a blessed holiday season. The Historic Haunts Investigations Team Jamie Pearce’s Favorite Paranormal Television Shows
We asked author/Historic Haunts Investigations founder Jamie Pearce what paranormal television shows best represent the field. “I feel that ‘The Dead Files’ is the best for current television. They go in and figure out what is going on and actually help the client. That is what we are supposed to do. Another favorite which is occasionally on in reruns is ‘The Haunted Collector’. John Zaffis is one of my mentors and a legend in the paranormal field.” Historic Haunts Investigations just got a new piece of paranormal equipment about a month ago from Ghost Hunters Equipment online store. The PMB (Paranormal Music Box) Poltertune. This fun motion sensor is amazing. We used it on five investigations so far while we were on our Virginia book tour and investigations.
Whenever someone moves infront of the device, music plays like a music box. We found a child spirit really loved playing with the music making it go on and off. Details about the NEW PMB from www.ghosthuntersequipment.com When anything seen or unseen passes in front of the front of the POLTERTUNE, its red light lights up and a creepy tune begins to play. This makes it very easy to know when something has triggered the PMB POLTERTUNE! The POLTERTUNE doesn’t have to be stationary during an investigation as the Original PMB. In other words you can carry the PMB POLTERTUNE around and investigate! The POLTERTUNE requires no calibration before you begin to use it. As the original PMB, it has a battery compartment made for two 9 volt alkaline brand name batteries. The two 9 volts batteries ensure long operational time before you have to switch to fresh batteries. The more the music box is triggered – the more battery power is used. So if it is triggered a lot then the batteries will have to be replaced sooner. Untriggered the batteries last for about 12 hours. The PMBs also work as a trigger object. Entities from past centuries are seemingly able to relate to and like the fact that the PMB features a music box that they can set off so it plays. This year we hosted two ghostly photo contests. Our winner for October....The Myrtles Plantation. An apparition was captured descending the staircase of the main house. Congrats to The Myrtles Plantation, one of the most haunted houses in the U.S.
Jamie Pearce has selected the March of Dimes as the charity of the month for November 2019.
10% of your online purchase will be donated to this amazing non profit. Please shop and also check out their website at www.marchofdimes.org and see this charity close to Pearce’s heart. We recently investigated Linden Row Inn in Richmond Virginia where Edgar Allan Poe occasionally haunts. We weren’t let down! He is one of my inspirations and one who led me down the path of becoming an author. All the details from a very exciting investigation will be in an upcoming volume of Historic Haunts of the South.
We conducted another mini investigation at Yorktown Battlefield and it never lets us down. We have seen apparitions here, captured EVPs and lots of EMF spikes. Make sure to stay tuned for a future volume of Historic Haunts of the South to hear all the details.
We recently conducted a mini investigation at Powhatan Manor. We had a lot of EMF spikes and even saw a shadow figure walk from one room to another. All the details from this investigation will be in an upcoming volume of Historic Haunts of the South.
We did a day time investigation at the Battle of Bull Run. I have two ancestors who were brothers (my 7th great uncles). One fought for the North and the other for the South. The Union soldier unfortunately died at the First Battle of Bull Run.
We had a very interesting investigation here and all the details will be in one of the upcoming volumes of Historic Haunts of the South. Did I make contact with my 7th great uncle? You’ll have to wait and see. |
