This month's historic book: Reporting the Revolutionary War
~Dr. Jamie Pearce
Author/Founder of Historic Haunts Investigations
I started Historic Haunts Investigations in 2004 for two reasons; I love the paranormal and I love history. I am a historian and a reenactor so since I am recommending paranormal books every month, I figured I should do a history related one too. I hope you will enjoy them.

Historic Haunts Investigations has finally made their way to Instagram. Please be patient with us while we figure out how it all works. :-)
I wanted to do something fun so I thought I would start doing a paranormal movie of the month from some of my favorite spooky movies.
These movies aren't always 100% accurate and many are for entertainment purposes so here we go: This month's Pick: Scrooged ~Dr. Jamie Pearce Author/Founder of Historic Haunts Investigations Jamie Pearce has selected the Toys for Tots as the charity of the month for December 2021.
10% of your online purchase will be donated to this amazing non profit. Please shop and also check out their website at www.toysfortots.org and see this charity close to Pearce’s heart. Each month I will be recommending a book from one of my favorite topics, the paranormal. This could mean ghosts, UFO's, psychic research, etc. and all our in my personal library.
This month's recommendation is: Recovering the Soul by Larry Dossey MD Fantastic book signing this past Saturday at Anemoai Co in Orange Park Florida. A great crowd came out to support a small business and a local author (me) as well. Looking forward to the next signing at Anemoia Co.

~Dr. Jamie Pearce Author/Founder of Historic Haunts Investigations We decided to visit the North Carolina History Museum while in Raleigh and weren’t really expecting to run into the paranormal while there. Very heavy vibes in some areas in the museum and London actually got completely weirded out in two se ruins. When this happened I pulled out my K2 EMF meter and actually got spikes in a few areas. You never know what you will run into.
While in Raleigh we conducted a mini investigation at Mordecai Park. The two main haunted hot spots were the Mordecai House and the Andrew Johnson House. EMF spikes and activity with the Spirit Box. These will be featured in an upcoming volume of Historic Haunts of the South to get all the details.
