Welcome to the year of the Tiger. Today is the start of Chinese New Year and let’s make it a fantastic one and hopefully COVID will get further and further behind us.
Happy Chinese New Year, Dr. Jamie Pearce PhD Author/Founder of Historic Haunts Investigations Fantastic investigation at the 1842 Inn in Macon Georgia. Not a ton of activity but enough to keep us excited. Everyone who knows me know I love cats so any location with a ghost cat is great for me, we even saw it several times. More details to come in Historic Haunts of the South IV.
I started Historic Haunts Investigations in 2004 for two reasons; I love the paranormal and I love history. I am a historian and a reenactor so since I am recommending paranormal books every month, I figured I should do a history related one too. I hope you will enjoy them.
This month's historic book: The Pharaohs by Dr. Joyce Tyldesley ~Dr. Jamie Pearce Author/Founder of Historic Haunts Investigations Each month I will be recommending a book from one of my favorite topics, the paranormal. This could mean ghosts, UFO's, psychic research, etc. and all our in my personal library.
This month's recommendation is: Encyclopedia of Ghosts and Spirits by Rosemary Ellen Guiley I wanted to do something fun so I thought I would start doing a paranormal movie of the month from some of my favorite spooky movies.
These movies aren't always 100% accurate and many are for entertainment purposes so here we go: This month's Pick: An Evening with Edgar Allan Poe (1970) ~Dr. Jamie Pearce Author/Founder of Historic Haunts Investigations Dr. Jamie Pearce has selected the Bronx Historical Society, The Poe Cottage as the charity of the month.
